Happy Birthday, Hello Kitty!

I have been obsessed with Hello Kitty ever since my parents showered me with Sanrio gifts when I was a kid. So you can guess just how excited I was to attend the “Three Apples” Exhibition: Celebrating 35 Years of Hello Kitty at Royal-T!

There were already about 200 people lined up when we arrived at 9:30am on Saturday morning. We didn’t get inside until noon, but it was totally worth the wait. Inside was nothing but Hello Kitty chaos… it was awesome!

I didn’t get a chance to order any food off the Hello Kitty menu, but hopefully I’ll be able to come back again and grab a bite to eat. Here is a peek at what you can order…

I did, however, eat a piece of Hello Kitty’s birthday cake… YUM!

I also had the pleasure of meeting Ivan Arnold, President of tokidoki. It was an incredible experience to meet him & his lovely wife, Pooneh, the masterminds behind tokidoki. They made us feel so welcome and really made the exhibit that much more memorable.

Happy 35th Birthday, Hello Kitty!!!

tokidoki loves yogurtland

I’ve been hooked on tokidoki ever since Simone Legno did his first collaboration with LeSportsac back in 2006, so I was super excited to check out the first ever collabo between tokidoki and Yogurtland.

I swear eating from the tokidoki cup & spoon made the yogurt taste that much better. I loved it so much that I just had to take extra home with me! hehe. :) Can’t wait until November 23 for the release of the Donutella spoon! Mark your calendars!

Oh, and don’t forget to enter the tokidoki loves Yogurtland sweeps!

Poseidon on the beach

I was in San Diego this past weekend for Sharon’s bachelorette party. On Saturday morning, we headed over to Poseidon in Del Mar to have some brunch. The restaurant is right on the beach, but we were pretty disappointed because there was so much fog we couldn’t really enjoy the view. Fortunately, that didn’t stop us from enjoying our meal! I didn’t get a chance to photograph everyone’s food (we were starving so we dug right in!) but here is a peek at two delicious breakfast meals…
